Perfect fit pleated blinds

Perfect Fit pleated blinds are designed to clip directly onto your UPVC window frame, meaning no drilling, screws or adhesive are required.

These blinds fit into window frames, creating a streamlined and integrated appearance. As the blind moves with the window or door, it’s also a practical choice, suitable for customers who want a simple and tidy solution that’s easy to operate.

What windows are perfect fit pleated blinds suitable for?

Tilt and turn windows: the integrated blinds won’t affect the use of the window and ensures they can be operated even whilst the windows are opened.

Patio doors: Perfect-fits are a great option for doors as they open and close, while top-down, bottom-up operation gives you greater control over light and privacy.

Conservatory windows & doors: Easy installation and a great thermal solution for conservatories that tend to get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. A great slimline finish for smaller conservatories or garden rooms.

No-drill blinds – the frame simply clips into your windows.
Light-blocking side frames – as the blind sits within a 4-sided frame, there is minimal light leakage when the blinds are fully closed.
A neat, integrated finish – the blind sits within the window frame rather than projecting into the room.
Moves with the window – making it a practical option for opening windows or patio doors.
Easy to operate – using a simple pull tab, the blinds can be opened by hand from the top and bottom depending on where you need light and privacy control.

Tru-Fit Pleated Blinds

Tru-Fit pleated blinds are another no-drill solution, but instead of clipping onto the window frame, they are secured using discreet adhesive strips on the left and right-hand sides only, with top-down, bottom-up operation for balanced light and privacy control.

This makes Tru-Fit a flexible option for a wider range of windows, without the need for screws or permanent fixings.

What windows are Tru-fit pleated blinds suitable for?

Standard windows: a clean, no-drill solution for most windows where a uPVC frame is not necessary, unlike most perfect-fit blinds.

Tilt and turn windows: as the blinds sit within the windows themselves, you can open your windows without having to adjust the blinds and keep your privacy.

Patio doors: Neat and tidy, allowing easy access when opening and closing your patio doors, without needing to open the blind.

Conservatory windows & doors: Similar to perfect-fits, they provide excellent heat and light control for conservatories without compromising on space.

Why choose Tru-Fit?

No drilling or screws – ideal if you want a completely drill-free installation.
Suitable for most window types – giving you greater flexibility when choosing your blind.
Ideal for doors and opening windows – the blind stays with the glass when the window or door is opened.
Flexible light control –Tru-fits are also designed to be top-down bottom-up, giving you excellent options for where you need both light and privacy control.

Free-Hanging Pleated Blinds

Free-Hanging pleated blinds are the most traditional of our three options. They are fitted using a top cassette which is securely fixed with brackets, rather than attaching directly to the window itself.

Although it’s a fixed option, it has a secure fitting rather than relying on clips or adhesive, making them a robust, long-term option. These blinds can also be fitted within a window/door recess or onto the surrounding wall or ceiling, depending on your window and the installation requirements.

What windows are free-hanging pleated blinds good for?

Standard rectangular windows that open outwards, where you can keep the blind down for light and privacy control whilst enjoying fresh air.

Large glazing: they are also ideal for non-opening windows to give a stylish, clean finish to larger panes of glass.

Bifold doors: Motorised free-hanging blinds are a great option to sit in front of bifold doors, providing flexible control over light and privacy while allowing you to easily adjust the blinds when needed.

Windows with deep recesses: The blind would be installed with a top cassette neatly into the recess without compromising on space

Highly versatile – suitable for a wide range of window styles and configurations.
Securely fitted – using a drilled top cassette.
Ideal for larger windows and recesses – where an integrated system may not be suitable.
A classic, clean finish – offering all the benefits of a pleated blind with a more traditional installation.
Optional light blockers available – For additional light coverage, L-shaped blockers can be fitted down each side of the blind, helping to minimise light gaps while giving the blind a neat, framed appearance.

If you’re not looking for a no-drill option, or your windows aren’t suitable for a Perfect Fit or Tru-Fit system, Free-Hanging pleated blinds offer a highly adaptable solution whilst still providing many of the benefits as the other styles.
