Whether you’ve just moved into a new home or completed a renovation and ordered new shutters or blinds, there will be a manufacturing lead time before your bespoke window coverings are ready to install.
That doesn’t mean you have to live without privacy in the meantime.
At The Shutter Studio, we offer complimentary temporary blinds to customers who have placed an order with us. Temporary blinds are a quick, practical solution that provides instant privacy and light control while you wait for your bespoke window coverings.
What are temporary blinds?
Temporary blinds are lightweight pleated paper blinds designed as a short-term window covering. They attach directly to your window frame using a simple peel-and-stick adhesive strip, making them incredibly quick and easy to install.
There’s no need for drilling, screws, brackets or power tools. The adhesive attaches securely to your window frame in just a few minutes and is designed to be gentle on surfaces, removing cleanly when your bespoke shutters or blinds are ready to install.
Temporary blinds are supplied in a universal width, making them suitable for most standard windows, and can easily be trimmed to achieve a neat fit. Simply measure your window, trim the blind to size using scissors or a craft knife, peel away the adhesive backing and gently press the top edge into place above your window.
Once fitted, the blind can be folded or unfolded to adjust the amount of natural light entering the room. Use the supplied clips to secure the blind at your preferred height, giving you flexible privacy and daylight control throughout the day.
The ideal short-term window covering
Every shutter and blind we supply is made to your exact specifications, ensuring a beautiful fit and finish that’s built to last. While your order is being made, temporary blinds provide a practical solution that bridges the gap.
Designed for short-term use, they can remain in place for several weeks, or even months if needed, providing privacy, reducing glare and helping you feel at home while you wait for your bespoke installation.
As a complimentary service for our customers, temporary blinds are just one of the ways we help make the journey from consultation to installation as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Many homeowners also choose to reuse them when decorating, moving house, renovating or waiting for another window furnishing installation, making them a handy addition to keep for future projects.
Style your home while you wait
Temporary blinds may only be in place for a short time, but they don’t have to stop you enjoying your home.
While your new shutters or blinds are being made, it’s the perfect opportunity to style the rest of the room. Introduce cushions, rugs and lighting to create a cosy atmosphere, add artwork or shelving to personalise the space, or bring in plants and different textures to complete the look.
By the time your bespoke window furnishings are installed, the rest of the room will already feel beautifully finished!
Why choose temporary blinds?
Temporary blinds are a simple yet effective solution while waiting for your new shutters or blinds to arrive. Easy to install, adjustable and completely tool-free, they provide instant privacy and light control without damaging your windows or frames.
At The Shutter Studio, we’re pleased to offer complimentary temporary blinds with qualifying orders, helping you enjoy your home from day one while your bespoke window coverings are being made.
