The Shutter Studio’s range of heat-reflective blinds used for swimming pools is not limited to set styles or sizes., they are fully custom-made to suit each application. All of our waterproof blinds are suitable for both private and commercial swimming pools. The best type of blind will often come down to your personal preference.

Blinds for swimming pools do not improve safety around a swimming pool directly, however anti-glare blinds are used to keep the sun from reflecting off from the surface of the swimming pool helping to reduce risks of accidents for anyone using it.
Are pool blinds resistant to water and humidity?
Pool blinds are designed and manufactured to withstand the conditions that swimming pools present. The fabrics are waterproof, and the design and installation of the blinds system is customised avoid any potential issues with water or humidity.
How do I clean and maintain pool blinds?
The maintenance requirements will be different for each style of blinds. Our waterproof roller blinds are our easiest window blinds to maintain, as they have a shiny coating that is easy to wipe with a cloth. Heat-reflective pleated blinds systems tend to be slightly harder to clean however they still only require a light dust off with a feather duster.
All components used to manufacture our waterproof blinds are replaceable, so at any time if the components start to show signs of wear and tear then these parts can be easily changed.
What is the average lifespan of pool blinds?
The lifespan with our pool blinds very much depends on how well the blinds are cared for and maintained. Different blind systems will offer different lifespans however, as a rule of thumb most blinds are backed by a 1-5 year warranty depending on the level of blind quality and the components used.
